EPA Breaks Their Promise to Deliver Water to a Gas Drilling Impacted Community, Dimock, PA

While environmentalists and President Obama were gearing up to defend attacks on the Environmental Protection Agency this election year, the EPA broke their promise to Dimock, Pennsylvania residents who lost their well water after hydraulic fracturing, or "fracking" to extract natural gas. EPA failed to be an ally of northeast Pennsylvania by not delivering water on January 6, 2012 following officials' phone calls to families promising that water was on the way.

Lisa Jackson, EPA Administrator, has the authority to provide water to the residents that are currently relying on donations that are literally drying up. Please take a minute to hold Lisa Jackson accountable. Call her at 202-564-4700, tell her to  give Dimock their water.

Defending the EPA from attacks does not mean giving the Obama administration a free pass on fracking, mountaintop removal, Tar Sands, offshore drilling, and other polluting industries.
