After almost a year on staff I finally got to meet some coworkers for the first time in person, and forgot how essential it is to help remind oneself why we're in this movement.

Dreaming and scheming together has been done virtually for so long (our Network Member Organizations are great at that), but there's nothing like building that community in person. Keep reading to check up on what our Network Members are up to, what's happening in the movement, and more.

Uplift: Digital Convergence - Rooted Communities, Stronger Together

>> Rooted Communities, Stronger Together will be a weekend of workshops around mutual aid, community knowledge, abolition, and environmental justice in the greater Southwest planned by young people from the Southwest. Uplift will have crash courses in topics such as direct action and radical info sharing, workshops on eco-anxiety, and more! You can register for the free convergence here.

Our Climate Voices: Remedy - Climate, Ritual, & Roots A Virtual Artist Residency

>> Beginning this Black August, Our Climate Voices is excited to invite youth to gather for a virtual journey alchemizing climate grief through eco-social art practice in partnership with Lead 2 Life. Over the course of seven months (from August 2021 - Jan 2022), a constellation of 12 youth artists, aged 15-18 years old, will engage in an interdisciplinary art practice inspiring transformation, co-learning, curiosity, and creation.
